I agree with the choices because you provided the descriptions of the characters to match the evidence that backed it up. I was really able to see each character in my mind and it matched the character in the book as well. Good job!
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with who you chose for the character of Ismene. Based on her previous performance, not only does Emma Watson have a nice and cautious side, but she can also have a dark side to her. Great job!
ReplyDeleteI don't really agree with Samual L. Jackson being Creon he doesn't seem like a tryancial enough actor for me but maybe i have never seen him play that type of role. Also him being african american might be a slight issue with him playing a greek character but i like the rest of your choices.
ReplyDeleteI agree with your choice for Ismene, because Emma Watson does have a very innocent look to her, and also does a good job in the role of the cautious foil to the rash protagonist. Funny you should choose Clint Eastwood for Haemon- I put him down for the Leader. To me he seemed more dry and observant than I could imagine Haemon to be.
ReplyDeleteI agree with most of your choices on characters except for Samuel L. Jackson as Creon, I just couldn't see that happening. You had good points regarding the other characters though, such as Ismene and Antigone.
ReplyDeleteI agree with a lot of the choices you had for the characters, they seemed to match each character in the play pretty well, except for Sam Jackson, doesn't seem to much like a Creon type of person.
